Flubot Trojan-Banker had a devastating impact on Android users across Europe during the summer of 2021.

It spread via SMS messages that appeared to be from well-known shipping companies (FedEx, DHL, etc.) to trick users into downloading the malicious app. Then it took over the phone, gathered sensitive information to launch a targeted overlay attack and steal banking credentials.

Allot Cybersecurity experts explain how it spread and how Allot Secure kept end-users safe by preventing Flubot from communicating with its C&C server.
